We always like to keep track of the time, it’s almost as if time commanded our lives, we’re always conditioned by time one way or another, if it wasn’t so we wouldn’t die. That’s why we always carry a watch or have grandfather clocks.
I love the looks of an old and big grandfather clock, when it is a good piece of work the wood is magnificent. Besides being used to tell the time they also make great decoration. I’m also very amused by the clicking sound they make.
When I was a young boy there was a uncle of mine that had one of those clocks, I still like them but, I don’t know why, when I was young I used to love them, everything about them was appealing to me.
You see we start talking about time and we end up talking about grandfather clocks… Do you think that there will be grandfather clocks on future spaceships? Will they last so long? Maybe we’ll see them on other planets, that would be a nice click for a change.
But then we must agree that the most important thing must be keeping track of the time, only that way you have a sense of location.
